Here you'll find some of our favorite faxes, pieces of mail, and miscellaneous materials.  In particular, the BGA, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, is solicited for donations almost daily by political committees.  Political activities by 501(c)3 organizations are prohibited. If the BGA were to respond by buying tickets to a fundraiser, making a donation, or endorsing a candidate for office, the organization could very well lose its tax-exempt status.

The solicitations became particularly amusing after this 2005 BGA/Sun-Times investigation.
